U.S. Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib has called on the U.S. government to arrest Israeli military commander Sean Glass, who is accused of involvement in the death of 5-year-old Palestinian girl Hind Rajab in Gaza. Tlaib stated on social media on Monday that Glass is in the United States and emphasized that, under the Genocide Convention and the Geneva Conventions, the U.S. government has a legal obligation to investigate and arrest him on charges including war crimes and genocide. The Hind Rajab Foundation has submitted an urgent request to the U.S. Department of Justice to arrest Glass. The foundation's investigation claims that the "Vampire Empire" company, commanded by Glass, was in the immediate vicinity of Rajab's vehicle when Rajab, her family, and rescue workers were killed. Rajab and her family were attempting to evacuate Gaza City on January 29, 2024, when their vehicle was hit by Israeli fire, leaving it riddled with 335 bullet holes. The investigation found no evidence of an exchange of fire at the time, with only Israeli forces present.
