CATL and Huawei Qiankun signed an intelligent energy replenishment agreement to jointly explore unmanned energy replenishment scenarios.
On October 19, CATL, Contemporary Amperex Energy Service Technology Ltd. (CAES), and Huawei's Intelligent Automotive Solution Business Unit (IAS BU) signed a strategic cooperation agreement for an intelligent energy replenishment ecosystem in Ningde, Fujian. This collaboration aims to gradually integrate cooperative vehicle models equipped with Huawei Qiankun solutions into CATL's Choco-SEB battery swap network, exploring unmanned scenarios where vehicles autonomously proceed to battery swap stations for energy replenishment. CATL hopes this move will attract more automakers to adopt battery swap solutions and promote the development of its battery swap business.
