According to Al Jazeera, the war between Israel and Lebanon has severely impacted individuals with autism and ADHD, who typically rely on stable environments and structured routines. The conflict has heightened anxiety among these populations and significantly disrupted their support services. Lebanon's economic crisis and inflation, reaching up to 17%, have placed immense operational pressure on autism support organizations, such as AAA, which charges $700 per month in tuition, leading to a loss of professionals. The government's monthly disability allowance of $40 is far from sufficient to cover basic needs.
