Masoud Barahman, head of the Iran-Africa Joint Chamber of Commerce, stated that Iran's exports to Africa have increased by 28% despite restrictions on some trade routes. He made these remarks at an event aimed at helping young people enter international trade. The U.S. military previously stated in August that the blockade of Iranian ports had been "fully implemented," and economic trade by sea into and out of Iran had "completely ceased."
