The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) announced that Tokenized Stock Venue, Perpetuals.com, and OKX have informed the SEC of their plans to operate tokenized securities trading platforms following the introduction of new regulations. The SEC stated on Wednesday (October 20) that these companies have submitted plans to allow the trading of tokenized stocks. This comes after the SEC announced in September that it would provide a five-year exemption for platforms facilitating tokenized stock trading.
