India's data center market faces concerns over water and electricity consumption; the government will introduce new policies to balance development and sustainability.
India's data center market is facing growing public anger over water and electricity resource usage, threatening its ambition to become a global data center hub. Last week, Niti Aayog, the Indian government's think tank, also shared a framework to guide local governments in assessing the sustainability of data center projects.
