According to Wu Blockchain, SSV Labs, the core developer of the Ethereum staking protocol SSV Network, submitted governance proposal DIP-59 on October 21, seeking to significantly cut its development roadmap. This move aims to address the challenging market environment and financial pressures faced by the DAO. The proposal shifts the development focus from new products to network maintenance, security, and compatibility with Ethereum upgrades, and extends SSV Labs' involvement until June 2027. Additionally, SSV Labs disclosed that the previously approved payment of approximately 1.74 million SSV tokens (DIP-31) remains outstanding.
