Amnesty International reports that over 1,400 people have died in Gaza since the ceasefire agreement came into effect, with the enclave continuing to face a worsening humanitarian crisis. The organization stated on X that nearly 2 million people still need shelter, no hospital in Gaza is fully operational, and 1.4 million people face crisis levels of hunger. Amnesty International emphasized that accountability cannot be obscured, and Gaza's recovery must be based on international law, justice, and victims' rights. The organization also accused the international community of failing to hold Israel accountable and to pressure Israel to comply with the binding orders issued by the International Court of Justice, warning that the continued lack of accountability is fueling further atrocities against Palestinians.
