Amazon CEO Andy Jassy stated in an Andreessen Horowitz podcast released on Friday that the vast majority of Amazon Web Services (AWS) core infrastructure capacity has been snapped up for the next several years. He noted that 2026 capacity is sold out, 2027 is largely sold out, and a significant portion of 2028 is also booked. This dynamic highlights the sustained and robust investment appetite of enterprises for cloud services and AI infrastructure. Jassy also mentioned that Amazon maintains flexibility in capital expenditures, adjusting server and network equipment procurement plans based on customer demand, and continues to deepen its in-house chip strategy.
