Iranian security official Ali Bagheri Kani stated that Iran might establish regional security arrangements with countries such as Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, and Turkey. According to Iranian state television, Kani said that a meeting of officials from the four countries in Tehran on Monday (October 26) conveyed the message that "differences can be resolved through dialogue," and economic cooperation was also discussed.
