Hardware wallet manufacturer Foundation Devices stated that an investigation revealed personal information from its historical WooCommerce orders remained in the database, despite appearing as edited in the admin backend. Additionally, customer data from orders placed via Shopify since May may also have been compromised. Foundation Devices has revoked affected email credentials and shut down the compromised old services. The company stated there is no evidence that Passport devices or their private keys were compromised. Attackers attempted to trick users into revealing wallet recovery phrases through phishing emails.
