WeRide announced the launch of its global insurance partnership program, with Allianz Insurance Singapore and Ping An Property & Casualty Insurance Company of China becoming the first partners. The program covers WeRide's existing operations in China, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East, and supports services to be launched in more markets, including Europe. All parties will jointly develop customized insurance solutions covering the entire lifecycle of L4 autonomous vehicle operations, including motor vehicle liability insurance, commercial general liability insurance, product liability insurance, and privacy and cybersecurity risk coverage.
