German luxury carmaker Porsche reported on Tuesday that its operating profit for the first nine months of 2026 rebounded to 1.74 billion euros, significantly higher than the 40 million euros recorded in the same period last year. This improvement was primarily due to the absence of the 2.7 billion euro strategic restructuring costs incurred in the prior-year period. Meanwhile, the company's revenue decreased by 5.9% to 25.28 billion euros, and vehicle deliveries fell by 16% to 178,532 units. Porsche CFO Jochen Breckner stated that the company has substantially reduced its exposure to the Chinese market, which has lessened the overall business's reliance on this "challenging" market environment. Following the earnings release, Porsche's stock price rose by 2.3%.
