Ripple and BNY Mellon are expanding their partnership, with BNY Mellon adding XRP and the USD stablecoin RLUSD to its institutional custody platform. The bank also plans to enable clients to directly mint and redeem RLUSD through its services. Additionally, BNY Mellon and Ripple are collaborating with working capital provider C2FO to pilot tokenized trade finance on the XRP Ledger. This initiative aims to move corporate working capital onto public ledger infrastructure, allowing suppliers to receive payments for approved invoices more quickly.
