Seven companies, including JPMorgan Chase, Coca-Cola, Dell Technologies, AMD, Adobe, Applied Materials, and SanDisk, have officially opposed the tokenized stock trading platform planned by OKX and ICE, bringing the total number of opposing companies to 33. These objections were disclosed in a notice dated Tuesday, following previous objections from companies such as Microsoft, Google, Goldman Sachs, Wells Fargo, Intel, and Oracle. JPMorgan Chase is the third major bank to raise an objection. Under the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission's (SEC) innovation exemption rules, if a company submits a written objection within 30 days, the platform cannot offer trading of its tokenized stocks.
