Al Jazeera analysis shows that Israel's military blockade of Hebron, a city in the West Bank, has entered its second week, displacing nearly 5,000 Palestinians and causing approximately $3.8 million in daily commercial losses. Hebron Mayor Yousef Jabari stated that the number of displaced people more than doubled in two days. Israeli Defense Minister Katz said that Palestinians would not be allowed to return home until Hamas infrastructure is dismantled. The operation also included the arrest of about 110 people, the demolition of buildings, and the leveling of approximately 7,000 square meters of land.
