Al Jazeera's latest report indicates that Iranian authorities have reported multiple incidents recently in and around the Strait of Hormuz. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy stated that it prevented two oil tankers from passing through "unauthorized routes" and that a supertanker hit a mine and caught fire. The Iranian Navy, meanwhile, reported that two other oil tankers hit mines and caught fire in the eastern Strait of Hormuz and destroyed an enemy unmanned vessel. Concurrently, the Omani Navy rescued 25 crew members from an attacked vessel off the coast of Musandam Governorate.
