Lebanon has indicted eight individuals linked to Hezbollah over previously seized explosives.
Lebanese judicial authorities have indicted eight individuals associated with Hezbollah in a case involving previously confiscated explosives belonging to the group. The State Prosecutor has charged these Hezbollah-linked individuals with undermining state security, possession of weapons and explosives, and forming an illegal organization. The defendants have been referred to a military investigative judge. Lebanese security forces confiscated a truck loaded with explosives on October 5 in Dahr el-Baydar, located between the Beqaa Valley and the Lebanese mountains. Hezbollah stated that the explosives belonged to the organization and were intended for use against Israel.
