The lawsuit alleges that SpaceXAI's Colossus data center and a power plant, operating in Southaven, Mississippi, violated the Clean Air Act by using gas turbines without a permit, emitting pollutants, and posing health risks to nearby residents. SpaceXAI had argued that its turbines were "mobile sources" exempt from permitting and that community groups lacked standing to sue under the Act, but these arguments were rejected by the judge.
