The United Arab Emirates has condemned an attack on Qatar’s liquefied natural gas (LNG) carrier Al Mayeda in the Gulf. The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated on X that the incident poses a serious threat to maritime safety and global energy supplies, warning of dangerous consequences for the marine environment and regional security. The ministry also expressed solidarity with Qatar and called for respect for international law and the protection of commercial vessels.
