Yemen's government forces announced they repelled a Houthi attack on the Kahlan front in Sabr, south of Taiz. The Taiz Military Axis Media Centre stated on Facebook that government troops, supported by local resistance fighters, pushed back the assault. Fighting around Taiz has intensified since September, threatening routes to Aden, and the UN reported that road closures have cut off food aid to over 800,000 people.
