Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi detailed seven conditions for peace talks and the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz. These include: lifting US sanctions, reducing the US military presence in the region, reinstating oil waivers, releasing frozen Iranian funds, formally recognizing a new Iran-Oman shipping route in the Strait of Hormuz while closing others, ending the war on all fronts (particularly Israel’s attacks on Lebanon), and ending the US naval blockade of Iranian ports and interference in its internal affairs.
