On November 4, the XRP Ledger (XRPL) activated a new amendment named fixCleanup3_4_0, aimed at enhancing network security through technical updates. The update patches a potential security vulnerability in token issuance, preventing accounts that are only authorized to burn tokens from illegally issuing new tokens under zero-balance authorization. Additionally, it introduces improvements to liquidity withdrawal, token clawback, and asset vault rounding handling within the Automated Market Maker (AMM) and native lending infrastructure.
