  • Liquid Exchange Token QASH: History, Functions, and Current Status

    QASH is the platform token of the Liquid exchange, which has been acquired by bitFlyer. It was originally issued through an ICO in 2017. As an ERC-20 token, QASH was used to pay for Liquid platform service fees, enjoy trading discounts, and participate in promotional activities. The Liquid exchange has undergone a series of significant changes, from the merger of Quoinex and Qryptos to become a Japanese tech unicorn, to suffering a hacker attack in 2021, being acquired by FTX in 2022, and then by bitFlyer in 2024. As of August 2026, the Liquid platform is still operational, and the total supply and circulating supply of QASH are both 1 billion tokens, with a market capitalization of approximately 1.8 million USD.
