HBOT Token: The Governance Core and Future Outlook of the Hummingbot Ecosystem
HBOT (Hummingbot Governance Token) is an Ethereum-based ERC-20 governance token for the Hummingbot open-source project. It grants holders voting rights on the project's direction, including code modifications, additions or removals of connectors, bounty allocations, and board elections. Hummingbot was open-sourced by the CoinAlpha team in 2019, aiming to democratize high-frequency trading, and is community-driven with new versions released monthly. The foundation operates independently through a fee-sharing model with exchanges, without reliance on traditional venture capital. The value of HBOT is closely tied to the continuous development of the Hummingbot ecosystem and community activity.
