BLOK Perpetual Contract In-Depth Analysis: Key Mechanisms and Risk Considerations
BLOK is the utility token for Bloktopia, a metaverse project built on Polygon that offers VR educational and entertainment experiences. BLOK perpetual contracts allow traders to speculate on the token's price with leverage without actually holding the asset, and with no expiry date. The contracts are pegged to the spot price via funding rates, but high-leverage trading carries significant liquidation risk. Given the extremely low trading volume in the BLOK token spot market, traders need to be highly vigilant about potential liquidity risks and fully understand the complexities and risks before engaging in perpetual contract trading.
