EURR will be fully integrated into Revolut's retail app, allowing eligible customers to transfer on-chain euro-denominated assets between euros and cryptocurrencies, and supporting multiple blockchain networks and external wallets. Revolut plans a broader deployment across the European Economic Area later this year, along with the launch of other currency-denominated stablecoins.

Bitcoin's rally loses momentum around $80,000, up 22% since Aug. 20, as traders await US inflation data and Fed signals. Strong ETF inflows have supported the rally, but profit-taking and overbought conditions could limit near-term gains. A sustained breakout above $83,000 could open the door toward $95,000–$100,000.

Zcash (ZEC) is experiencing an 8% pullback, with traders selling the news after its Grayscale spot ETF began trading on the NYSE on Tuesday. The ETF launch was a catalyst behind ZEC's recent surge, which saw the privacy coin rally 60% to an eight-year high.

Wall Street consensus expects NVIDIA's revenue for this quarter to be approximately $92 billion, nearly doubling year-over-year, with an adjusted EPS expectation of $2.09. Jefferies anticipates revenue to reach $95 billion, while Citi maintains a target price of $300. Goldman Sachs warns that with the stock price already up over 12% in August, merely exceeding performance expectations and raising guidance will not be enough to drive the stock higher. It would also require a triple positive impact from improved profitability of hyperscale cloud vendors, controllable customer financing, and large-scale capital returns. The market's focus on the earnings report has moved beyond short-term performance to long-term issues such as the growth curve of the Rubin platform, controversies surrounding revolving financing, gross margin pressure, power bottlenecks, and the competitive landscape.

Fundstrat managing partner and research head Tom Lee believes the S&P 500 benchmark could rally towards the 7,900 to 8,000 level if the market successfully navigates three major events this week. These obstacles include the release of the core personal consumption expenditure (PCE) price index for July on Wednesday, Nvidia's second-quarter earnings announcement after market close on Wednesday, and the speech by Fed Chair Kevin Warsh at the Jackson Hole economic symposium on Friday.

Gross margin significantly narrowed from 20.1% in the same period last year to 11.0%. The company expects Q3 revenue to be between RMB 26.6 billion and RMB 28.0 billion, with the midpoint approximately 17% lower than market expectations; delivery volume is projected to be between 95,000 and 100,000 units, also significantly below market estimates. Despite pressure on profitability, Li Auto's net cash flow from operating activities turned positive to RMB 15 million in Q2, and it continues to advance its USD 1 billion share repurchase program, having already spent approximately USD 632 million.

Al Jazeera analysis points out that President Trump's decision to cut the annual US-South Korea Ulchi Freedom Shield military exercise from 11 days to five, linking it to Seoul's refusal to join the US effort in Iran, has laid bare the transactional logic of his East Asia approach. This move, alongside growing doubts about the US security umbrella, is reshaping strategic calculations across the region. Notably, the US State Department's August 25 readout of the Cho Hyun–Marco Rubio call conspicuously omitted any reference to 'denuclearization' regarding North Korea, a term routinely present in previous trilateral statements. Pyongyang's response to Trump's overture, while reaffirming 'personally good memories' towards him, insists Washington must accept North Korea as a nuclear-armed state. China, through Foreign Minister Wang Yi's visit to Seoul, urged South Korea to pursue 'genuine str

JPMorgan Chase released a report stating that Alibaba's HK$80 billion (approximately US$10.3 billion) placement completed on August 24 triggered market concerns about the economics of its AI capital expenditure, but the bank believes the market reaction was severely overdone. On August 25, the day after Alibaba's share placement, Hong Kong stocks plunged 8.5%. JPMorgan Chase estimated that only about 0.3% of this could be attributed to the placement discount itself, and the abnormal repricing borne by existing shareholders amounted to approximately US$19 billion, twice the amount raised. JPMorgan Chase maintained its "Overweight" rating on Alibaba, Tencent, and Baidu, and recommended investors buy Alibaba shares before the September quarterly earnings release. The report also analyzed that Alibaba has the largest structural funding gap, Tencent can largely self-fund, and Baidu has the weakest internal financing capability, with the three companies having different financing paths to cope with AI capital expenditure.
