Gifto (GFT) Project Overview and Evolution
Gifto (GFT) is a decentralized virtual gifting protocol based on Web3 technology, aiming to empower global content creators through blockchain technology to create and receive digital gifts from fans. The project was initially launched in 2017 by the live streaming platform Uplive, with the core goal of building a direct tipping mechanism without traditional platform intermediaries.
Gifto's token has undergone significant technical migration. Initially, its native token was GTO, based on the Ethereum ERC20 standard. To adapt to the development of blockchain technology and optimize protocol efficiency, the Gifto team rebranded its token to GFT and migrated it to the BNB Chain (BEP20 standard). Existing GTO holders can convert their tokens to GFT at a 1:1 ratio.

Ecosystem and Use Cases
The Gifto ecosystem aims to provide a comprehensive suite of Web3 tools for content creators and fans. Its main components include:
- Staking Platform: Users can earn rewards by staking GFT tokens.
- Web3 Wallet: Provides a mass-market crypto wallet for users to manage digital assets easily.
- NFT Functionality: Supports the generation, storage, and trading of NFTs, allowing creators to use digital art, e-cards, and more as unique virtual gifts.
- NFT Marketplace: Offers a platform for users to buy, sell, and exchange NFT gifts.
- Charitable Donations: The project pledges to donate a portion of its annual GFT inflation to charities to support education and poverty alleviation programs.
The primary use cases for GFT tokens revolve around virtual gifts, including purchasing, creating, and sending blockchain gifts. Creators can monetize their content by receiving GFT tokens from fans. Additionally, GFT has been traded on supported CEXs and DEXs.

Market Performance and Risk Warning
According to public data as of September 17, 2026, the market activity of the Gifto (GFT) token is extremely low. Its 24-hour trading volume is only tens of dollars or even lower, and its market capitalization is in the tens of thousands of dollars. For example, as of September 11, 2026, GFT's 24-hour trading volume was approximately $46.88, with a market capitalization of about $85,464.83; as of July 30, 2026, the 24-hour trading volume was only $1.01, with a market capitalization of about $60,661. These figures indicate that the token's trading market is almost exhausted, lacking effective transactions.
Although historical data once showed price increases during specific periods, from the current trading volume and price levels, the GFT token no longer has an active trading market. Early price predictions mentioned in public sources (e.g., reaching $0.08 to $0.90 by 2025 or 2030) differ significantly from the current actual price (approximately $0.00001), rendering these predictions irrelevant.
Given its extremely low trading volume and market activity, the GFT token currently has no reliable active trading channels. Investors should be fully aware of the extremely high liquidity risk and potential loss risk associated with such tokens.

Technical Architecture
The Gifto protocol utilizes Web3 blockchain solutions, with its core being a decentralized universal tipping protocol that executes virtual smart gifts via smart contracts. The project was initially based on the Ethereum blockchain, but later migrated its token and part of its infrastructure to the BNB Chain to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
