WhaleEX Overview and History
Whale Exchange (WhaleEX) was a decentralized service platform registered in Singapore, launched in October 2018. It was once described by the market as one of the world's largest decentralized trading platforms, dedicated to providing crypto asset trading services.

Platform Closure and Operational Status
According to an official announcement from WhaleEX, the platform completely shut down all operations in May 2021 due to policy requirements. Subsequently, its operational activities gradually ceased, and it planned to close its app and servers in December 2023.
As of now, WhaleEX retains only two core functions:

- Distribution of unexpired hashrate earnings: The platform continues to distribute earnings for previously purchased hashrate products.
- Asset withdrawal: The platform provides users with limited avenues for asset withdrawal.
According to information from November 2023, WhaleEX, in conjunction with the multi-signature parties of the smart contract nodes, has withdrawn approximately 70,000 USDT remaining in the smart contract in a single transaction. The platform has committed to storing all user data on its servers, expected to be retained until December 2025.
User Asset Withdrawal Guide

Since WhaleEX has ceased operations, its trading market has nearly dried up, lacking effective transactions. For users who still have a small amount of assets to withdraw, WhaleEX provides a specific withdrawal process:
- Users need to send an email to the designated address ([email protected]).
- The email must include the following information: name, registered mobile number, ID card number, and a photo of the user holding their ID card.

WhaleEX states that it will reply to and process such withdrawal requests weekly. Please note that this process is only applicable to users who previously had small, unwithdrawn assets on the platform.
Market Data and Risk Warning
According to third-party data platforms like CoinCarp, WhaleEX's current 24-hour trading volume and on-chain asset data are both "--", further confirming that it no longer has an active trading market. Some online tutorials regarding WhaleEX withdrawals may be outdated and inconsistent with the platform's actual closure. Readers are advised to verify information carefully.

Given that WhaleEX has ceased operations, users should avoid attempting any trading or deposit operations and remain vigilant against any third-party information claiming to restore its trading functions, to prevent potential risks of asset loss.
