On the New Year's holiday, the Fukushima coast will see a peak in the flow of water. From 1 to 3 January 2026, the Fujian Maritime Authority projects that 143 passenger ships will be operational off Fujian coast, sending 386,500 passengers, an increase of 51.4 per cent over the same period last year. Of these, 15 passenger ships on both sides of the “small three” passenger route are operational, leaving 108 flights and sending 215,000 passengers, an increase of 51.3 per cent over the same period last year.
