CSI Launches 15 Bond Full-Price Indices for the First Time
To diversify the range of performance benchmarks for fund products, China Securities Index Co., Ltd. will launch 15 bond total-return indices, including the CSI All-Bond Index (Total Return), for the first time on January 5, 2026. The 15 full-price indices being launched are derived from existing indices using full-price calculation methods. Their compilation methodology remains consistent with that of existing indices, covering core domestic bond categories, including broad-market indices that attract widespread market attention, as well as sub-indices segmented by maturity and category. Among them, the CSI All-Bond Index includes government bonds, financial bonds, corporate bonds, and other bond types from both the interbank and exchange markets. It reflects the overall performance of China’s bond market and serves as a comprehensive bond index with broad market representation.
