On December 31 local time, the Turkish Official Gazette published a presidential decree announcing that, effective January 2, 2026, a visa-free entry policy will be implemented for citizens holding ordinary Chinese passports. According to the regulations, the cumulative duration of visa-free stays shall not exceed 90 days within any 180-day period, and the policy applies to tourism and transit purposes.
