EIA data shows that U.S. oil production hit a record high in October
According to data from the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA), U.S. oil production reached a record high of 13.87 million barrels per day in October (revised from 13.839 million barrels per day in September). U.S. crude oil exports rose to 4.198 million barrels per day in October (from 4.159 million barrels per day in September); distillate fuel exports fell to 1.208 million barrels per day (from 1.37 million barrels per day in September); refined product exports fell to 2.997 million bpd (from 3.21 million bpd in September); gasoline exports fell to 753,000 bpd (from 772,000 bpd in September).
