According to statistics from the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge Border Inspection Station under the Zhuhai Border Inspection Headquarters, since 2025, as of 12:00 a.m. on January 1, 2026, passenger and vehicle traffic through the Zhuhai Road Port of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge exceeded 31.34 million passenger trips and 6.8 million vehicle trips, respectively, representing year-on-year increases of 14.3% and 22.3%. setting new all-time highs for both metrics. This marks the first time since the port’s official opening in October 2018 that both passenger and vehicle traffic have surpassed the 30-million and 6-million thresholds in a single calendar year. Additionally, the port has set new single-day records for passenger and vehicle traffic six times this year, with the highest single-day passenger volume reaching 170,000 and the highest single-day vehicle volume reaching 28,000.
