According to Politico, Ukrainian President Zelenskyy stated in his New Year’s address to the nation that a potential peace agreement aimed at ending the Russia-Ukraine conflict is “90 percent ready.” He said, “There is still 10 percent left to complete... That 10 percent actually encompasses everything. “That remaining 10% will determine the course of peace, the fate of Ukraine and Europe, and the way people live.” He explained that while Ukraine’s position has been heard by the international community, it has not yet been fully recognized. It is for this reason that the agreement is currently 90% ready, rather than 100%.
