The Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Information Technology and other departments have issued the "Several Measures of Shanghai on Connecting with the Yangtze River Delta to Accelerate the Development of an Advanced Manufacturing Cluster for the Low-Altitude Economy," which proposes supporting the airworthiness certification of new types of aircraft. Support will be increased for enterprises in the low-altitude economy industrial chain that have obtained Type Certificates (TC) and Production Certificates (PC). The municipal and district governments will provide one-time incentive grants for new types of aircraft, such as eVTOLs and industrial-grade drones, as well as for key core components like engines and propellers.
