Curfews have been imposed in some regions of Mali, and security risks remain high throughout the country. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Chinese Embassy in Mali advise Chinese citizens to refrain from traveling to Mali for the time being. Chinese citizens and institutions already in the country are urged to evacuate as soon as possible or relocate to relatively safe areas such as Bamako, Goyala, Koutialla, and Sanga, and to closely monitor developments, remain highly vigilant, strengthen security precautions and emergency preparedness, and ensure their personal safety.
