On January 4 local time, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu stated at a cabinet meeting that he had just concluded a “historic visit” to the United States and held a “very important meeting” with U.S. President Donald Trump.Netanyahu said that during the visit, both sides demonstrated a high degree of understanding and mutual respect, and believed this would help further strengthen bilateral relations between Israel and the United States as well as personal ties between the two leaders.On the issue of Iran, Netanyahu stated that the U.S. and Israel reaffirmed their shared position of “zero uranium enrichment” and proposed the need to remove approximately 400 kilograms of enriched uranium from Iran, while implementing strict monitoring of the relevant sites.
