Hainan's Fresh Coconuts Make Debut in Belarus; Free Trade Port Expands Agricultural Export Market
Recently, 19.5 tons of fresh coconuts produced in Qiongshan District, Haikou City, were successfully shipped from the Alashankou Port via cross-border road transport under the supervision of Yecheng Customs, a branch of Haikou Customs, and officially dispatched to Belarus, a country participating in the “Belt and Road” initiative. This marks the first time fresh coconuts from Hainan have entered the Belarusian market, signifying a new step forward in agricultural trade cooperation between Hainan and countries participating in the "Belt and Road" initiative. This successful export not only diversifies the range of trade products between Hainan and Belarus but also lays a solid foundation for expanding exports of tropical fruits in the future. (CCTV News)
