According to information released by Venezuelan Minister of Information and Communications Freddy Niñes on January 4 local time, following a cabinet meeting held that day, Venezuelan Acting President Rodríguez established two committees. One of the committees, tasked with handling matters related to President Maduro’s release, is led by Jorge Rodríguez, President of the National Assembly of Venezuela, and includes Niáñez and Foreign Minister Gil among its members.
