NVIDIA (NVDA.O) announced that its highly anticipated new “Rubin” data center product will be available later this year, allowing customers to trial the technology and help accelerate the development of artificial intelligence. NVIDIA The company stated that all six Rubin chips have been delivered by manufacturing partners and have passed several key tests, indicating that customer deployments are proceeding as planned. Its newly launched Rubin accelerators deliver 3.5 times the training performance of the previous-generation Blackwell and run AI software 5 times faster.The company emphasized that the operating costs of Rubin-based systems will be lower than those of Blackwell-based systems, as they achieve the same results with fewer components. It is reported that Microsoft, and other major remote computing service providers will be among the first to adopt this new hardware in the second half of this year.
