New energy installed capacity accounted for over 64% of the province's total power installed capacity, with new energy in Gansu having transitioned from a "supplementary power source" to a "primary power source." In 2025, the province's new energy power generation amounted to approximately 96.3 billion kilowatt-hours, a year-on-year increase of 19%, equivalent to saving 11.8351 million tons of standard coal and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 75.0458 million tons.
