Recently, following review and approval by the IEEE Standards Association (IEEE SA), the Digital Trust Standards Committee, spearheaded by the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT), was officially established as part of the IEEE SA Computer Society. Zhang Yihui, Director of the Innovation and Development Department at the CAICT’s Artificial Intelligence Research Institute, serves as the committee chair, while the Big Data and Intelligence Department of the Cloud Computing and Big Data Research Institute acts as the secretariat. This marks China’s assumption of significant influence in global standardization efforts within the digital trust sector and will further promote the coordinated international development of digital trust technologies and applications.
