Iran condemns Israeli foreign minister's visit to Somaliland
Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Baghaei issued a statement on the 7th condemning the Israeli foreign minister’s illegal entry into the Somaliland region, stating that Israel’s actions constituted a flagrant violation of Somalia’s national sovereignty and territorial integrity. Baghaei stated that the international community has consistently emphasized the need to respect the national sovereignty and territorial integrity of Somalia, a member state of the United Nations and an independent nation. He added that it is necessary to strengthen cooperation between the international community and Islamic and African nations to prevent the erosion of Somalia’s national sovereignty. (CCTV)
