Staking service provider P2P.org reported on October 30 that validator commission data has no longer been visible in Solana's staking reward records since September 8. This change stems from pull request #12588, merged by Agave on May 20, which left the commission rate field blank in the reward metadata after custom collectors were activated. This means stakers need to verify the actual fees charged through historical validator status and delegation proofs, rather than directly from reward records. Proposals are currently underway to address this data transparency issue.
