Guangzhou: Accelerating the construction of the Nansha Zhongke Aerospace Liquid Rocket Final Assembly and Testing Base and the Huangpu Xinghe Power Rocket Final Assembly Base
Guangzhou has issued the "Guangzhou Plan for Accelerating the Development of an Advanced Manufacturing Powerhouse (2024–2035)." The plan states that the city will focus on advancing reusable rocket technology. By leveraging the Conghua Commercial Rocket Liquid Propulsion System Test Center and the Final Assembly and Testing Industrialization Base, Guangzhou aims to provide a solid foundation for the development of medium- and large-sized liquid-fueled rockets. In the future, these facilities will be opened up for shared use by research institutes, enterprises, and universities nationwide. The city will expedite the construction of the Nansha Zhongke Aerospace Liquid Rocket Final Assembly and Testing Base and the Huangpu Xinghe Power Rocket Final Assembly Base, develop high-thrust, reusable liquid rockets, and build low-cost, high-density space launch capabilities.
