Svmuu News: Nikita Bier, Product Lead at X and advisor to Solana, posted on X stating that since last October, a prevailing view within the crypto Twitter (CT) community has been that users need to reply to a large number of posts daily to grow their accounts. However, he pointed out that frequent posting continuously depletes daily reach, and since the average user views only about 20–30 posts per day, The platform cannot fully push all content from a single user to their followers, leading some crypto users to over-consume their reach on low-value interactions like "gm," thereby limiting the reach of substantive content such as project announcements. Nikita Bier believes that the decline in the reach of crypto tweets stems primarily from the community’s own behavior rather than platform algorithm issues, describing the situation as “CT is dying from suicide.” These remarks subsequently sparked controversy within the crypto community. Crypto analyst and LedgArt co-founder KALEO stated that Nikita Bier failed to consider user growth and long-term engagement, and that his views could potentially undermine the crypto community ecosystem on X. KALEO publicly called for his resignation. Nikita Bier has since deleted the relevant tweets.
