Nearly 80% of the exclusive projects listed on Gate 2025’s spot market closed higher within 30 minutes of their launch, with a median gain of approximately 81%.
Svmuu News: Gate Research has released "Gate 2025 Key Data on Spot Listings," which analyzes market feedback across multiple time windows—ranging from 5 minutes to 30 days after listing—based on a sample of 447 assets newly listed on Gate's spot market in 2025. The report notes that in a market environment characterized by high volatility and high supply, listing new assets for an exchange is not merely about expanding asset coverage; it also tests the platform’s comprehensive capabilities in project screening, liquidity organization, order matching, and price discovery efficiency. In terms of supply structure, Gate listed a total of 447 new spot assets in 2025, including 318 first-time listings (28 of which were exclusive) and 129 non-first-time listings. First-time listings accounted for approximately 71% of the total, with new supply for the year primarily driven by first-time listings. Regarding first-day performance, approximately 54.8% of assets closed higher within 24 hours, with the average 24-hour gain for the rising samples reaching approximately 635%. A breakdown by type shows that debut projects achieved higher median returns during the early window: the median 24-hour gain for the full sample of debut projects was 12.56% (excluding outliers: 8.03%), significantly higher than the 1.18% for non-debut projects (excluding outliers at 0.86%). The early performance of exclusive projects was even more concentrated: nearly 80% (22 out of 28) closed higher within 30 minutes of launch, with a median gain of approximately 81%, and over one-third of exclusive projects achieved gains of ≥100% within 30 minutes. Judging by the trajectories of representative projects, Gate’s initial offering system covers a wide range of asset types—including traffic-driven, technology-driven, and community-driven projects—with no shortage of cases achieving gains of tens of times. This reflects Gate’s efficiency in screening high-profile assets, the speed of its initial offering execution, and its ability to provide liquidity support.
