According to a report by CBS News, Waymo will launch its self-driving taxi service in four new cities in Texas and Florida, expanding its operations to 10 major metropolitan areas across the United States. Waymo will add four cities—Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, and Orlando—expanding its autonomous taxi service to 10 major U.S. metropolitan areas. The company currently handles over 400,000 weekly rides and aims to reach 1 million by the end of 2026. Future plans include expanding into cities such as Las Vegas, Washington, D.C., Detroit, and Boston, with the company also expected to launch its service in London for the first time.
