Draft National Law on Fire and Rescue Personnel Outlines Recruitment, Dismissal, and Other Systems
The draft Law on National Fire and Rescue Personnel was submitted for the first time to the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress for deliberation on February 25. The draft consists of 7 chapters and 47 articles, regulating the management of national fire and rescue personnel and clarifying systems for recruitment and termination; it also safeguards the lawful rights and interests of national fire and rescue personnel and specifies provisions regarding funding and salary benefits.
